Fairy
Materials Needed:
Fingering (Sport, Worsted) weight yarn 200 yds (150 yds, 110 yds)
US #4 (6, 8) needles
Scissors
Darning needles
Notes:
This basic washcloth is worked in GARTER STITCH, which means that
every stitch is KNIT on EVERY row.
Start all new skeins at the END of a row. Then hide the ends down
the sides to finish.
Loosely Cast On 84 (66, 54) sts.
Knit all sts, work 168 (132, 108) rows
Bind off loosely. Weave in all ends.
This pattern is wonderfully adaptable. Want a bigger washcloth?
Cast on more stitches and knit more rows! If you make it much
larger, please buy an extra skein of yarn!
